Geometry: No new homework. Please make sure you drop off your Journal with me tomorrow if you haven't already.

Algebra 2: Work on your Journals that are due on Wednesday. There will also be a quiz on Wednesday covering:
  • Counting multiple events
  • Simple probability
  • "OR" probability
  • "AND" probability
Pre-Calc: We will be working on the Journals in class tomorrow. Also make sure you've looked at Section 1.2 #3-45 (3n), and bring questions on anything you don't understand.

Geometry: Journal is due tomorrow! (Formatting and neatness count!)

Algebra 2: There is a Journal due on Wednesday, September 30th. Also, please do the 10.4 packet, #3-8 (all), #16-21 (all), 27-31 (odd) and 39.

Pre-Calc: Journal due on Tuesday!! We will be working on the posters in class on Friday. Please make sure you work on the homework from yesterday (Section 1.2 #3-45 (3n) ).

Geometry: Reminder that the Journal is due on Thursday. We will have some time in class tomorrow to work on it, but you should not expect to finish the whole thing during that time.

Also do Section 1.6 (pp. 66-67) #2-10 and 16 for homework.

Algebra 2: Read the packet (10.4) and do #3-13 (odd), 20-25, 42 and 46

Pre-Calc: Read Section 1.2 in your book, do #3-45 (3n). Stop when you start getting to problems about the topics we didn't cover yet: Symmetry, Asymptotes, and End Behavior.

Geometry: Memorize the polygon names (triangle, quadrilateral, pentagon, etc.) Also, do Pizzazz worksheet p. 137.

There is a Journal due on Thursday September 23rd.

Algebra 2: No new homework, other than catching up on the Counting Multiple Events worksheet.

Pre-Calc: No new homework. Great job on the quiz today, take the weekend off from math!

Geometry: Text book, pp. 56-57 #1-17 (odd). Make sure you read the section to find the names for 3-sided, 4-sided, and 5-sided polygons (etc.)

Algebra 2:
Pre-Calc: Quiz on Chapter P tomorrow. You should try pp. 61-62 #14, 16, 19, 28, 32, 38, 42, 55, 56, 66 to help you study.

Topics that may be covered in the quiz:
  • interval notation
  • types of numbers (integers, rational, etc)
  • Basic scientific notation and exponents
  • midpoint and distance formula
  • equations of circles
  • solving equations an inequalities
  • writing equations of lines
  • Solving quadratics (factoring, square roots, quad. formula, etc)
  • Solving equations graphically
