You should do the packet on Completing the Square (Part 2), to practice the "easy" (no fractions) and "harder" (fractions required) problems. Remember that you have a Journal due on Monday.

Ali wasn't in class today, so no new homework. Please bring in your assignment from today for credit.

Pre-Calculus:
No new homework. Make sure you've caught up on old homeworks, and understand how to solve the word problems. You have a Journal due on Monday, February 4th.

If you've been working on solving systems, you should finish #1-6 (at least) in the packet on Equations and Systems.

Most people started the packet on solving systems. You should finish up through problem 4 tonight.

Pre-Calculus:
Please do Section 6.1 #3-39 (3n), 40, on adding vectors. Skip the problems on material that we didn't cover yet today (we'll finish those tomorrow).

Algebra 2:
Do the Pizzazz (page 15.5) on dividing square roots and rationalizing denominators.

Algebra 1A:
Please finish the packet (#17-24) on solving equations, if you didn't finish in class.

Pre-Calculus:

Algebra 1A:
Make sure you're getting rest and getting ready for midyears. If you finished the Pizzazz on solving equations with steps, then you're up-to-date.

Assignment 6, using the Composite Angle Properties. As always, continue working on the Midyear Review.

Algebra 2:
Today we talked about solving quadratics by factoring. You should be finishing:

• Pizzazz, page 14.6
• Yesterday's packet, especially the last page
• the packet handed out today on solving quadratics
• Midyear Review

Algebra 1A:
Today we continued reviewing graphing system and solving equations.  

Pre-Calculus:
Today we talked about the sum and difference formulas for sine and tangent. You should be working on Assignment 5 for homework. Also, remember that you should be reviewing for the Midyear Exam (and asking questions as necessary!)

Algebra 2:
Today we recapped graphing parabolas, and you should be working on the packet for homework. Also, you should start reviewing for the midyear exam. Answers are posted outside my room, and you can come in with questions whenever.

Algebra 1A:
Today we continued to talk about solving systems of equations by graphing. If you were in class, you should have finished up most of the graphing problems, and you have no homework. If you didn't get that far, you should finish that for homework.

Pre-Calculus:
This weekend, you should complete Assignment 4 based on the sum/difference formula for cosine.

Algebra 2:
This weekend, you should be finishing the two graphing packets we started in class. Also, look at Assignment 1 from Chapter 5, on graphing parabolas. 

Algebra 1A:
No homework this weekend!

Pre-Calculus:
Work on the Trig Identities Practice packet that was handed out today in class. Today's notes are here. Expect a brief rematch of Wednesday's quiz tomorrow, and then we're moving on.

Algebra 2:
Finish up the pizzazz packet on reverse FOIL. Expect a quiz tomorrow.

Algebra 1A:
You should have finished 6-7 problems in the packet on Systems of Equations. No homework if you got that far.

Pre-Calculus:
By now, you should have finished Assignment 1 and Assignment 2, and you should be caught up on all sorts of notes. If not, please do so ASAP. We will be having a rematch on today's skills check on Friday, so please make sure you're catching up.

Algebra 2:
This week we're getting re-familiar with factoring and FOILing. You should finish both sides of the pizzazz worksheet from today (pages 12.7 and 13.2).

Algebra 1A:
Today we refreshed our memories on skills from last year. If you didn't finish in class, you should work on the packet from class today.
