Algebra 1A:
Today we started talking about solving equations mentally, using inverse operations. You should do the Pizzazz worksheet (showing steps!). Also, we have a Portfolio assignment due on Friday.

Pre-Calculus:
Please do Assignment 9 for homework, which should be a continuation of the function operations we've been talking about in class.

Algebra 2:
Please finish up whatever parts of Assignment 8 that you couldn't finish yesterday. Today we talked more about Piecewise Functions.

Algebra 1A:
If you didn't finish your Journal, you should be finishing that up tonight so you can turn it in. Remember that I need it before November 2 or you can't get credit.

Pre-Calculus:
No new homework. Today we talked more about function operations, and we'll continue with inverses on Monday.

Algebra 2:
Please do Assignment 8 tonight for homework, on Piecewise Functions. Also, Ali will be out on Thursday and Friday next week, so you have a Journal assignment- due on Tuesday October 30th.

Algebra 1A:
No new homework. Please make sure you're finishing up your Journal assignment, which is due on Monday. It should be done in a composition book.

Pre-Calculus:
Please do Assignment 8, on Function Operations.

Algebra 2:
Please do Assignment 7 on graphing inequalities. Due to a technical error, I can't post the notes today, but ask me for a printout tomorrow if you need them. If you're having trouble on the homework, make sure you read the section for help! (Also, notice that we're skipping some assignments!)

Algebra 1A:
Come in tomorrow ready to challenge me on the balloon game!

Pre-Calculus:

Algebra 2:
No new homework. Today we worked on a packet on Writing Linear Equations; if you didn't finish, you should finish that tonight.

Algebra 1A:
No new homework! Today was a very small class due to PSATs, so make sure that you're thinking about your Journal tonight.

Pre-Calculus:
Today we talked about Function Operations. Please work on Assignment 6 for homework. Also, if you haven't turned in your posters, please get them to me ASAP.

Algebra 2:
Today we worked on writing equations for lines, especially using point-slope form. Please work on Assignment 4 tonight for homework. 

Algebra 1A:
Today we worked on the Journal assignment that's due on Monday. Make sure you're not leaving all your work for the last minute!

Pre-Calculus:
We're back to regular math work. The presentations today were great; if you haven't yet turned in your poster, please get that to me as soon as you can.

Tonight, please do Assignment 5.

Algebra 2:
We had a skills check today on functions and slope. If you missed it, it is your responsibility to make that up. Due tomorrow is the packet on Linear Graphs and Equations.


Algebra 1A:

Algebra 1A:
Please start working on your Journal assignment, which is due on October 22nd (the handout has an incorrect due date! The correct due date is Oct 22!). This should be done in a Composition Book. If you don't have the ability to get a composition book by Oct 22nd, please see me.

Pre-Calculus:
Continue working on your Poster/Powerpoint project. Expect the presentations to be on Monday.

Algebra 2: 
Please do Assignment 2 on slopes and rate of change.

Algebra 1A: 
If you  did not finish the quiz today, it's your responsibility to find me and make arrangements. Please work on the "Interesting Problems to Solve" packet, due tomorrow.

You should be working on your Functions poster/powerpoint project. Expect to do your presentation on Monday, October 15th.

If you were not in class yesterday to talk about subtracting integers, you need to come see me for a Pizzazz worksheet. Please finish up the Pizzazz, and also work on the Interesting Problems packet, due tomorrow. Expect a quiz tomorrow on positive and negative numbers.

Pre-Calculus:
Are you caught up on the notes about Function Analysis? No new homework, but expect an assignment tomorrow.

Algebra 2:
Expect a skills check tomorrow on absolute value. Also, you should be working on Assignment 11 tonight on absolute value word problems. 

Algebra 1A:
No new homework. You should be caught up on the pizzazz and worksheet on adding integers. We'll have a quiz on Tuesday on positives and negatives.

Pre-Calculus:
Chapter 1, Assignment 4. Refer to today's notes on Function Analysis.

Algebra 2:
No new homework, but expect a skills check tomorrow on absolute value.

Today we talked about integers. Please do Chapter 3, Section 1 #1, 2, 4-10 and Section 2 #1, 2, 5-9

Pre-Calculus:

Algebra 2:
The packet on solving absolute value inequalities is due at the end of class on Tuesday. Notice that answers are available, but you still need to show work. I will be collecting and grading this!

Algebra 1A:
