Algebra 2: Make sure you are up-to-date and have turned in the Journal and the word problems packet. There is a quiz tomorrow.

Geometry: Quiz tomorrow! Also do book work pp. 239-240 #9-25 (odd). Remember when completing assignments from the book, you should:
  1. Include your name and the date
  2. Include the pages/section number and problems assigned
  3. Copy each diagram from the book. You do not need to be perfect, but you should try to sketch a good idea of the diagram.
  4. Show your work!
  5. Make sure your answer is easy for me to find and easy for me to understand. Circle/Box the answer if you want.
Pre-Calculus: No new homework, but please take your book home and find a safe place for it.

Calculus: Section 4.2 #1-7 (odd) on the Mean Value Theorem.

Algebra 2: Finish the packet of Linear Systems by Elimination (Easy).

Geometry: Work on the proofs packet from class today.

Pre-Calc: Continue to think about what would be good sampling strategies and analysis for our goldfish.

Calculus: Quiz tomorrow.

Wednesday, November 17, 2010

Algebra 2: No new homework. If you missed the quiz today, it is your responsibility to find me tomorrow to make an appointment.

Geometry: Journal assignment is due on Monday, November 29th (the Monday after Thanksgiving!)

Pre-Calc: p. 673 #1, 5, 6, 9 on sampling and biases.

Calculus: Quiz tomorrow on Chapter 3.

Tuesday, November 16, 2010

Algebra 2: Quiz tomorrow on solving systems. Also, the Journal is due tomorrow as well. If you haven't turned in your packets (graphing and substitution) to be graded, please do so ASAP.

Geometry: Finish up the Triangle Congruence packet that we started yesterday. There will be a quiz tomorrow on the triangle congruence shortcuts, and CPCTC tomorrow.

Pre-Calc: In the new packet handed out today, do pp. 667 #4-6, 8, 11, 12, and p. 672 (Class Exercises) #1-6 on sampling and biases.

Calculus: Quiz Thursday, Journal upcoming. Do Section 3.9 #1-39 (3n) tonight for homework.

Monday, November 15, 2010

Algebra 2: Finish up the Graphing and Substitution packets. There is a mini-Journal due on Wednesday.

Geometry: Do #1-8 in the Triangle Congruence Practice packet, as well as the 1st proof in the same packet. Remember that the proof will require CPCTC!

Pre-Calc: No new homework.

Calculus: No new homework.

Friday, November 12, 2010

Algebra 2: Complete the packet on solving systems using substitution. This is due on Monday. Also expect a Journal assignment on Monday.

Geometry: Complete the Triangle Congruence Practice packet. Make sure you know what an included side or angle is, as the difference between SSA and SAS, and between ASA and AAS are important!

Pre-Calculus: Turn in your normal distribution problems on Monday, if you haven't already. You'll need the normal distribution tables to solve many of the problems. Also, read the article about polling and sampling.

Calculus: Complete at least 1 per row on the derivative practice worksheet. Skip the logs/exponential functions, we'll talk about those on Monday.

Tuesday, November 09, 2010
