Geometry: No new homework. Today we looked at copying a triangle using only a compass and straightedge. Tomorrow you'll practice some more, and you have a quiz on Friday.

Algebra 2: No new homework. Today we went of yesterday's assignment, so please look at the notes if you're having trouble (combined notes from both classes here). Quiz on Friday!

Math Review: Today we reviewed the definitions of odd and even, and "greater than" and "less than". Finish up the worksheet 1.1 for homework.

Geometry: Today we looked at angles. You'll need a protractor to finish up the measuring angles worksheet, so please make sure you have one!

Algebra 2: Today we looked at some word problems, and solved equations for a variable. Do the homework tonight: Worksheet 1.4 #13-20, and Worksheet 1.5 (treat this as 4 word problems, not 20 separate questions).

Geometry: Today we looked at some interesting points, lines, and planes. Please finish up the last problem in the packet from class.

Algebra 2: We finished talking about the properties of real numbers. Make sure you've review the distributive property. For homework, complete the worksheet on solving equations.

All Classes: Your Journals are due on Monday. We had class time today to work on them, so if you're not done you will need to finish during Academic Support or at home.

All classes: Your first Journal assignment is due on Monday, September 12th. Please make sure you've got a composition book!

All classes: Finish up the packet on Interesting Problems, up to and including the swimming pool problem. You should also get a composition book for Tuesday (to be used exclusively for math!)
