Algebra 2: Quiz on Tuesday, on the function stuff we've been doing. Work on this packet for help studying. (Also study your last quizzes, since old things -- like graphing -- will reappear).

Geometry: Finish your dilations project please!

Pre-Calculus: Work on the review packet.

Thursday, May 26, 2011

Algebra 2: Do the worksheet on inverses of functions.

Geometry: Keep working on the dilations project!

Pre-Calculus: No new homework.

Wednesday, May 25, 2011

Algebra 2: You have a packet on function compositions an operations to finish up from class today.

Geometry: The dilations project is on! It's due on Tuesday next week, so think about how to best use your time. Will you need to take it home to work?

Pre-Calculus: No new homework.

Tuesday, May 24, 2011

Algebra 2: Complete the worksheet on the composition of functions. (Ignore the statement on the bottom of the worksheet about a skills test...this is an error.)

Geometry: The new project is on dilations. You should be bringing your comic to class each day.

Pre-Calculus: No homework.

Monday, May 23, 2011

Algebra 2: No new homework. IF you haven't finished your quiz from today, it is your responsibility to schedule a time to do that.

Geometry: If you haven't turned in your Tessellations project, you need to do that ASAP. We will not be working on that any more during class.

Pre-Calculus: No new homework. We'll finish the quizzes tomorrow in class.

Friday, May 20, 2011

Algebra 2: We have a quiz on Monday on exponents, exponential growth and decay word problems, and graphing exponential functions. You should have the word problem formulas memorized (general growth, general decay, compound interest, continuous interest). Also, the worksheet on solving exponential equations is due on Tuesday (but the graphing problems might be good practice for the quiz.)

Geometry: Your tessellations will be collected on Monday. If you're not done, I will accept them late, but we won't have other class time to work on them. Please get them in, it's an easy A!

Pre-Calculus: Quiz on Monday on the trig identities we've been looking at. Finish up yesterday's worksheet on double/half angle formulas for practice.

Calculus: Section 8.1 #5-10, 16, 21, 31

Thursday, May 19, 2011

Algebra 2: Complete the (short) worksheet on the number e.

Geometry: Keep working on your Tessellations Project.

Pre-Calculus: Complete the packet on double and half angles. We'll be having a quiz shortly, so make sure you can do these without using your graphing calculator. (An arithmetic calculator to help with the square roots is fine.)

Tuesday, May 17, 2011

Algebra 2: We went over graphing techniques in class, so use them to finish last night's homework.

Geometry: Rest up for the MCAS tomorrow. Non-MCAS takers should work on the Tessellation Project.

Pre-Calculus: Today we went over last night's homework. Tomorrow, half-angle formulas.

Monday, May 16, 2011

Algebra 2: Work on the graphing packet handed out today. You should try to graph without a graphing calculator, just using your knowledge of the behavior of exponential functions.

Geometry: No homework! MCAS is tomorrow, so rest up. When you get back to class, we'll be working on the tessellations project.

Pre-Calculus: In the packet handed out today, do #3, 4, 21, 22, 29, 40 on double angle formulas.

Friday, May 13, 2011

Algebra 2: Make sure you've turned in your Word Problems packet (it was due today). Also, complete the packet on graphing exponential functions for Monday.

Geometry: Complete the Transformations (part 2) packet for Monday.

Pre-Calculus: Complete the worksheet on the sum and difference formulas for sine and cosine, due Monday.
