Algebra 2:
No new homework. We finished talking about graphing parabolas today, and I handed out a graphing packet. You may get started on it, but we will have some time in class tomorrow to work on it. Your top priority is to finish missing assignments for me.

Calculus:
You have a packet on graphing using f ' and f '' due tomorrow.

Geometry:
Constructions are cool! No homework.

Algebra 2:
No new homework. Today we talked graphing parabolas, but you should spend the afternoon getting caught up on missing work.

Calculus:
Please do Section 4. QR1-4, #2, 5, and 7 on modeling and optimization.

Geometry:
No new homework.

Algebra 2:
You should be finishing the packet on graphing parabolas in intercept form if you didn't finish in class today. Remember that any missing work from Chapter 3 is due before break.

Calculus:
Due Friday is the packet on graphing with f ' and f ''.

Geometry:
Due tomorrow is the packet called "Beyond CPCTC".

Monday, December 15, 2014

Algebra 2:
All Chapter 3 work is due before break; please check PowerSchool to see what you owe me. Today we looked at graphs of parabolas, and most people finished the first packet on graphing.

Calculus:
Please finish graphing the function y = -2x3 - 6x2 - 3. Make sure you're checking both y' for increasing/decreasing and y'' for concavity.

Geometry:
Due tomorrow is the packet on the Base Angle Theorem.

Friday, December 12, 2014

Algebra 2:
You had a quiz today. If you're concerned about your grade(s) and missing work, this weekend is a good time to work on getting caught up on missing things. You should be coming to talk to me about what you're missing and what your plan is. Remember you can email me if needed.

Calculus:
Finish the problem from class today: y = (9/4)x4/3 - 9x1/3. Use your knowledge of the first and second derivatives to find where y is increasing, decreasing, concave up, concave down, and make a general sketch of y.

Geometry:
Today we continued talking about CPCTC and the Base Angle Theorem. You have a packet due on Monday, along with your Journal.

Algebra 2:
Quiz tomorrow! Use your review sheet to study. Please make sure you're communicating with me if you have issues before the quiz.

Calculus:
Due tomorrow is Section 4.3 QR 1-6, #1-29 (odd).

Geometry:
Today we talked about CPCTC, but there's no new homework. Proofs in class tomorrow. Your Journal is due on Monday.

Calculus:
No new homework. Make sure you've finished everything you owe me.

Geometry:
You have a quiz on Wednesday on congruent triangles. Today we talked more about writing proofs. You also have a Journal due on Monday.
