Geometry: This week we're studying for the midyear exams. We'll be working on these things until Monday, January 9th, so plan carefully about what (if anything) you need to finish up at home:
- Old work -- is your vacation assignment done?
- Portfolio -- due by the end of the term, but it's a bad plan to leave it that long
- Midyear Exam Review packet that I handed out in class (I'm not collecting this, but make sure you're asking me about stuff you don't know!)
- Reference sheets that you can bring to the exam
- Journal -- due by the last day of the term (January 13th)
- Portfolio -- due by the last day of the term
- Midyear Exam Review packet that I handed out in class. (I'm not collecting this, but make sure you're asking me about stuff you don't know!)
- Notecard for the exam -- you can bring 1 3"x5" card to the exam, written in your own words. If you have concerns about your handwriting, typing is fine, but copying/pasting from the internet and/or a friend is not acceptable.
- BRING YOUR CALCULATOR. At least 2 questions on the exam require your graphing calculator and I will not lend any on exam day. If you need to borrow one from a friend, make those arrangements in advance and have it with you when you show up for the exam.
